Professor Egghead Robotics Lab - Fall 2026

Sensors active. Motors engaged. Report to the Egghead Robot Laboratory for your first assignment! To start, it's building time - using over 500 LEGO™ SPIKE Prime pieces, campers assemble a jousting robot, a maze-following robot, a forklift robot, and more. Next, guide them through pre-programmed, competitive challenges, focusing on mastering core robotics concepts like autonomy, actuators, and conditional logic. How might a robot “see” something without using cameras or eyes, or feel something without fingers? Every Egghead will earn the bragging right of the school year: the knowledge of transforming a heap of parts into a thinking machine!

Professor Egghead Science Academy makes science accessible, understandable, and cool! Each session of  Egghead classes feature a new round of science and LEGO™ engineering lessons covering a wide variety of topics, all of which are specifically designed to get kids excited about STEM. By aligning our curriculum with Next Generation Science Standards and utilizing a hands-on approach to learning, we aim to help our Eggheads become problem solvers and critical thinkers for life.
